Darkova

The Curse of Darkova is a dreaded spell created by the royal family of Titania that keeps them on par with the other powerful rulers of Erion.

The curse itself allows the user to transform into an immensely powerful three headed poisonous beast that can control the elements of fire and ice. The draw back is that the user slowly loses control of themselves to the demonic power of the curse which makes them act more animalistic and gives them a powerful blood lust. However the cursed form can be controlled if one uses a special spell only known to the royal family, but the only one to ever use it was the former court sorcerer of Ringford, Beldor.

The curse apperantly seems unremovable as not even death can break it as seen with the undead King Gallon who still remains in his cursed form even after death.

• The Beast of Darkova is similar in appearance to the mythological guardian of the Greek underworld, Cerberus. It is possible that the Beast of Darkova can be based on Fenrir, an enormous wolf that kills Odin at the end of the world, but is in turn defeated by Odin's son, Vidar.
