There are 4 different types of bags in Odin Sphere: Pouchette, Small Bag, Bag and Large Bag. In Odin Sphere each character must purchase new bags to increase their overall storage capacity. However once bought they are permanent and cannot be sold afterword. It is possible to buy all of the large bags though doing so means working with the limited Pouchettes. As of Leifthrasir, all characters will get the bags in order of Pouchette, Small Bag, Bag and Large Bag as rewards for beating certain stages in an area.

A Puchette
Pouchettes are small bags that are a light brown orange and look similar to a coin bag; they can store up to three items and cost 10g. They are the first bag each of the heroes can buy.
Small Bag[]
Small Bags are a Maroon brown and can store up to five items. They are usually 30g.
Bag[]
Bags are green and look like a school bag. They can store up to 6 items and usually cost 50g.
Large Bag[]
Large Bags are black. They can store up to eight items and cost 75g or, in some markets, 70g. Each hero has two Large Bags at the beginning of their story.
